"We wanted to convert our 1950s shower/tub set up to an updated walk in shower. We found a shower wall/pan system we wanted to use, but because plumbing was involved we did not feel we could DIY it. We got 5 quotes and while A1's was not the lowest, it was the best as to the scope of services, including the willingness to use the Castico shower system we chose. Some quotes were 3+ times higher. We chose A1 Plumbing mainly because a plumber should always be involved in this type of work, and most of the others did not have a licensed plumber included. Considering this project was all about retrofitting into an existing alcove, the cost was very reasonable. Plus, Anthony was very personable. Anthony was always professional, courteous, and checked in with us on preferences or for further guidance on the aesthetic aspects as he went along. He was willing to do whatever it was to get the job done to our specifications. He arrived on time, worked until he was at a good stopping point at the end of day 1, and got it all done in 1-3/4 days. He did not dawdle. He never discounted our opinions because we are old folks. I will use A1 plumbing in the future, and already have at least one project in mind."
